Pollution means imbalance situation in the atmosphere. Water pollution is the worst form of pollution in water. Our water gets polluted when city residue mingles with river waters. The factories drain their chemicals into the nearby rivers. The drinking water has become a problem. There is a danger to animal life in water. Many species of fish have perished. Water pollution is also a cause of lowering down of agricultural productivity or fertility. Excessive use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture makes crops less nutritious. Sometimes water pollution causes epidemic in rural as well as in urban areas.
